Had intentions to run 15 since I had taken off some days earlier in the week...But out in the middle of my run I had met up with Bailey and she was going to do about 5-7 with me and we were almost to the turn around and I started feeling dizzy and shaky and my blood sugar took a serious dip. Thankfully I had Bailey there to take over the stroller but had took walk about a mile back. Need to still tweak my nutrition to figure out what works best before runs and still lose weight.

Poor Matthew has been struggling this week and finally last night around midnight it was in full effect. He was up all night and I took him into the doctor this morning and he has croup. Didn't really feel up to running after Jake got home from work so I went to the gym around 7:30.

30 lunges.

Came home and made some delicious burgers with the hubs. Praying for a good nights rest!!

Planning to do an easy 20 with Kelsey and Bailey in the morning. Looking forward to some cooler weather. Want to jump back up to 75 next week and hoping a healthy baby and some cooler weather will be conducive to my training. fingers crossed!

Ran 20 with Bailey this morning.First 10 were in to the wind and we were around 8:30s and on the way back had a tailwind for most of it and averaged 8:20s. Feeling really good buT HAVE to get some quality speed work this week.

Warm up on the tred for a mile and then dropped down to m.p. for 2. Jake wanted to get another 4 in so I went with him and we were about 7:05-7:07. Felt like I could have kept going for another 3-4, but I can definitely tell that I need to do more threshold miles/speed work. Planning to do some mile repeats maybe on Wednesday. 

Finally getting closer to race weight. I felt like for a while I plateaued for about a month/month and a half and couldn't drop below 117. Finally down to 114 and would be really happy if by December I could get under 110. Really want to consistently stay at 80 miles a week by the end of October. Thankfully my shins feel a lot less tender since I switched to some new shoes with a little more cushion.

Going to get 8-12 in the morning. Really hoping Matthew feels  a lot better in the morning so I can go with Jake outside and finally enjoy some fall weather!

AM- 6 miles this afternoon with Jake. It was so beautiful out. Did 6 miles around OC.

Ended up being a little bit of a progressive run( 1-7:52, 2-7:36, 3-7:30, 4-7:27, 5-7:20, 6-7:17) Need to really do more longer distance at faster than M.P

PM- Did another 5 with Bailey just easy after Matthew went to bed. Felt good to just go relaxed.

AM- 4.6 with Jake. my legs/body felt absolutely trashed. Getting some kind of bug/cold and then after yesterdays workout. yikes! Planned on doing 10 for the day and wanted to break it up, but instead I just got 1 run.

Raced a 5k in Cushing, ok for a little cash money:) this time the course was actually 3.1. So I was a little bummed my time wasn't faster, but atleast I'm not getting slower! I went out a little too fast in the first K and so through the second one I was a little more tired than normal. It was a great morning to run though, a little breezy but nothing too bad. Didn't get a long run this weekend, but this was probably the first weekend I didn't go long in a while.

Went up to Wichita Saturday afternoon to watch jake run the Prairie Fire. It was a fun weekend. The weather is finally feeling like fall so I'm looking forward to doing more speed work and really getting into higher milage. Got in 12 for the day just jogging around the course with Matthew. Feeling motivated about upping the miles and really committing to atleast 2 faster workouts a week. Planning to do a half this coming weekend, but going to train through it and see where my fitness is at with about 8 weeks till the Marathon.
